Environmental Policy

At Bil-Han Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş., we regard the environment as our most valuable treasure, and we believe it must be protected in the best possible way so that we can pass on a good quality of life — our most precious legacy — to future generations. Therefore, in line with national and regional legislation and the environmental requirements of our customers, we commit to:

  • Comply with all environmental laws and legal regulations we are bound by, with customer requirements and with other applicable conditions,

  • Keep our environmental impacts, including energy and water consumption, under control by protecting natural resources and reducing energy use,

  • Minimise waste generation by reducing pollution at source through sustainable waste management, recover waste wherever possible, minimise it where recovery is not possible, and dispose of it without harming the environment,

  • Continuously improve our Environmental Management Systems — an expression of our responsibility towards our customers and society — in line with evolving needs,

  • Provide training and carry out activities that raise our employees' environmental awareness, strengthen team spirit and increase their participation,

  • Improve our environmental performance by cooperating with our customers, suppliers, public authorities and all stakeholders who share the same environment,

  • Prevent unnecessary consumption of raw materials and natural resources, guided by the principle that today's waste is tomorrow's scarcity.
