Energy Policy

Bil-Han Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. is an organisation that aims, first and foremost, to reduce energy consumption and expenditure in order to ensure energy efficiency in production and all its operations, and to increase its environmental and economic sustainability in the long term. It is committed to:

• Setting goals in line with this policy through our management, with the participation of our employees, creating actions to achieve these goals and providing the necessary resources,

• Following all laws and regulations relating to energy and fulfilling their requirements,

• Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to create shared value and beneficial results on energy management issues,

• Using appropriate resources and technologies to keep energy under control,

• Improving energy performance indicators, including energy efficiency and intensity, in all processes,

• Ensuring the efficient use of natural resources and energy, and increasing the share of renewable energy sources in our energy use,

• Reducing energy consumption, making continuous improvements in energy efficiency, and monitoring their implementation and results,

• Using energy-efficient products and ensuring that services are purchased and related design work is carried out or procured with a view to improving energy performance,

• Continuously improving, documenting, communicating to all units, reviewing and keeping up to date our Energy Management System,

• Providing our senior management with all the information and resources needed to achieve our energy goals and objectives.
